An electric tilding motorbike with four wheels
A revolutionary concept, the Swaygo four-wheeled leaning motorcycle (motorised quadricycle) adds a new dimension to every day commuting and leisure travel. Unlike on a normal motorcycle, the unique interactive leaning system allows the rider to manipulate the vehicle for enhanced safety and control in difficult situations. Swaygo Motor is a South African company, established in 2005 with the first petrol-powered prototype design completed the same year. Currently the company is based in Kyalami and new production premises are being established in Cape Town.
The Swaygo 575 EVR-1 is the latest electric four-wheeler designed for the commuter market. The Swaygo’s leaning system allows you tilt the vehicle as required. You are in control. This dynamic inter-active capability helps to keep you balanced at all times; when travelling at low or high speeds in differing road situations and conditions. The fully independent suspension allows you the best possible ride; bumps and uneven surfaces are easily absorbed. The four disc brakes ensure superb stopping power.
Clean electric power offers you cost-effective and reliable transport. Overnight charging means you have an effective range that exceeds 100km. Simply plug-in your Swaygo and “refuelling” begins. The two brushless electric engines on the rear wheels have 14 kW of power, allowing a high speed of 105 km/h. The litio-ion batteries of 72V, 100Ah guarantee a range of about 140 kilometers.
