Electric vehicles comes back as Taxis - Elektrofahrzeuge zurück als Taxis

English company Dynamo has just introduced the electric taxi in London by preparing a Nissan e-NV200 Evalia - manufactured in Barcelona - as a public service vehicle, emphasizing that it is the first electric taxi in the English capital. It is not the first nor the only one!
Die englische Firma Dynamo hat gerade das Elektrotaxi in London eingeführt, indem sie einen Nissan e-NV200 Evalia - hergestellt in Barcelona - als öffentliches Dienstfahrzeug vorbereitet hat. Es ist aber weder das erste noch das einzige elektrische Taxi in London!

Dynamo makes a reference to the first fully electric black cab in 1899, the Bersey, introduced in 1897. These taxis could changed easily its batteries to remove them from the back, as they were placed inside a carriage, but they were not the only electric taxi in London, but probably the first. Walter Bersey already managed 12 units in 1897. The model weighed almost two tons, due to the batteries, reached 20 km/h and had a range of about 30 miles. Also the firm Electromobile offered their models as taxis, and were so successful that they circulated even in 1910 and later in the British capital with full satisfaction of its users.

The current "black" taxi prepared by Dynamo has a range of about 300 kilometers and can be recharged through the rapid recharging system CHAdeMO. The cost of the taxi is 55,495 pounds with a reduction of 7,000 pounds by the state, and according to the calculations of the company, the London taxi driver would save almost 4/5 parts in daily cost.

Dynamo Nissan is wheelchair accessible,and offers an 8-year/160,000 km warranty on batteries, 5-year/100,000 km on special EV components and 3-year/100,000 km warranty on the rest, all official Nissan warranties.

But they are not the only electric taxis in London. The London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) - a company of the Chinese Geely group - has already sold 3,000 units of its hybrid taxi, as it is a range-extender electric, which means it has a conventional auxiliary engine if needed. It can run more than 130 kilometers entirely in electric.
Aber sie sind nicht die einzigen Elektrotaxis in London. Die London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) - ein Unternehmen der chinesischen Geely-Gruppe - hat bereits 3.000 Einheiten ihres Hybrid-Taxis verkauft, es handelt sich dabei um einen Range-Extender-Elektrofahrzeug, d.h. es verfügt bei Bedarf über einen konventionellen Hilfsmotor. das schwarze Taxi kann mehr als 130 Kilometer komplett elektrisch laufen.
