Silicon Valley manufacturer Drako Motors introduces its first limited electric supercar, a culmination of a decade of unrelenting design, engineering and track development. The GTE is a four passenger ultra luxury supercar with a 1.200 HP quad motor architectura with 8.800 Nm of combined wheel torque, a 206 mph top speed and cornering precision unlike any other supercar on the road.
Four permanent magnet hybrid synchronous motors, with each wheel connected to a motor through separate direct-drive gearboxes, enable individual wheel control for extremely precise torque delivery.
The battery was designed from ground-up for megawatt power output as well as cooling capabilities. With 90 kWh of energy capacity and the ability to output 1.800 continous and 2.200 peaks amps, the battery is designed to supply the four motors with 900 kW of uninterrupted power. An internal massively-parallel cooling architecture integrates numerous cooling channels surrounding each individual battery cell to quickly dissipate heat lap after lap.
This hypercar based on the Fisker Karma chassis structure will be produced in limited numbers, 25 units with a 1.250.000 dollar base price, the deliveries are expected to take place in 2020.
