The German start-up e.Go Mobile, which will produce a city electric car from spring 2018, announced that it has already received so many orders that production expected for 2018 is fully sold out.
The demand for this modern car is growing very fast, confirmed the company, which as of 2019 plans to manufacture more than 20,000 units per year.
The e.Go Life is 3.35 meters long with 1.7 wide, and offers, according to the chosen option, a range of up to 170 kilometers. With its 22 kW (30 hp) electric motor and a modern battery system the car weighs about 900 kg and reaches 104 km/h. The energy consumption is about 9,9 kWh/100km.
E.Go also confirms that Bosch will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of the vehicle, a great success, since only in Germany the company Bosch has more than 17,000 workshops.
The model wants to sell through the price, since the base version costs about € 15,900; that means in Germany the real cost is 11.900 € including the bonus.
