This American company dreams with the ecological car of the future, a car that can also fly. It is not the first nor the only company, since the topic of flying cars is a dream since many years. Some cars have come forward, and some of them have actually flown. This not so much a technological problem but rather administrative, since no politician dares to change the legislation about the airspace.
Anyway, what Terrafugia promises is something sensational. The TF- X model features a heat engine and an electric motor, and also takes all the backscatter system to guide us safely by road and by air, take off and land where we please. Only the electric motor has just 600 hp, and the heat engine can both help or to join the electric engine to get more power or producing electricity to recharge the batteries. The maximum speed is up to 320 km/h and the car has a range of about 800 kilometers.
