Outrider, electric trikes from America

More and more companies decide to prepare three-wheeled electric bicycle as they offer better stability and higher speed.

The American company Outrider designed the Alpha three-whheler as the ultimate road performance electric bike, featuring the industry's longest range, fastest recharge, and the power to climb America`s most challenging mountains.

The hand-built three-wheelers offer a top speed of 40 mph and a range of 100 miles (at constant speed of 20 mph), thanks to a special three phase brushless electric motor (maintenance free) with between 750 and 4000 watts, depending on which country will be delivered. Conected to a lithium-polymer battery of 2.1 Kw hours, with a rated life of 1000 cycles with no battery memory. The bikes have dual front 180 mm hydraulic disc brakes with a SRAM PG-950 9 Speed cassette (optional a Rohloff 14 speed internally geared hub), offering the best power at every moment.

The weight is about 99 lbs, a little bit heavy for transportation; and the prices are around 11.995$ for the Alpha, and 9.995$ for the Horizon.
