MSC Bike is a Spanish company founded in 1999 by Luis M. and Ferran Marias, father and son. What started as a project with simple machined parts, it was becoming a wide range of components from less expensive fittings to the most sophisticated and refined parts, among which are some of the lightest components on the market in its category.
MSC Bike today is a leader in high-end bicycles focused on off road, enduro, mountain bike and downhill. To suit the needs of the current market the compnay will present in 2014 its extreme Vendetta E electric bike-ride .
This bike will be based on the normal version but has a monocoque Vendetta MSC Alu6061 T6 box wof170-190mm and a RS Domain R Cl fork of 180mm. It also has a rear shock Rock Shox Vivid Air R2C 222x66. The bike will be also equipped with a transmission SranX5 and hydraulic disc brakes Avid Elixir7 .
As a value-added it can be supplied with the Ego Kit, a conversion kit with the best German technology to bring the bicycle bto the extreme point. This Ego Kit features an integrated engine of 1200W (2400W peak), powered by a lithium-ion battery of only 4.6 kilos located in a backpack that puts the rider in his back.
This combination offers a maximum speed of 70km/h a range of up to 40 kilometers. The bike can be used on public roads if used with the motor off. With the engine running is prohibited the use on streets as it does not conform to the existing law on electric bicycles.
